We are very proud of the learning and development opportunities we offer to our employees. Through our People Strategy, ‘Success through People', we aim to ensure that all staff get the learning and development to give them the skills, knowledge and experience to do their jobs and contribute fully to achieving our aims and objectives.
Learning and development opportunities are offered throughout your career, from a comprehensive induction programme through to pre-retirement events.
Best practice in managing the learning and development of employees is being promoted throughout the Council: we aim to be recognised as an Investor in People (IIP) during 2006.
