Catherine - Senior Reablement Worker

Tell us a little bit about yourself – your work background, your interests…

My name is Catherine, I have a 5 year old Daughter. I also have 2 Cats Rosie and Boris. I’m a little bit of a thrill seeker and love to take part in random activities. I have only worked for Wiltshire Council since May and my role is ‘Senior Reablement Worker’ for the new Reablement Team.

What makes you have a good day at work?

A good atmosphere makes all the difference. And cake.

What's the best thing about working at Wiltshire Council?

The Team as they are ever so friendly, it’s like a little Family.

Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion?

It would be fashionable to NOT wear makeup…then I wouldn’t feel so bad rocking up without my eyebrows on.

What's the most unusual thing you've ever eaten?

Snails? Frogs legs? Pigeon? I’m not a fussy eater.

What three items would you take with you on a deserted island

A towel as I don’t like sand. Some Wellingtons as I don’t like sand, a Boat so that I can avoid the sand…

What's the most daring thing you've ever done?

Tallest Sky coaster in America, so basically you are suspended by a wire attached to a harness and then dropped over a lake...

If you could share a meal with any 4 individuals, living or dead, who would they be

Melissa McCarthy, Jennifer Lopez, Holly Willoughby, Robin Williams!

What would go into you room 101...

Sand and Turkish Delight!

Do you have an unexpected talent/skill/party trick

I play the Ukulele!

What attracted you to Wiltshire Council?

The Pension scheme and great added work benefits.
